Bernardo has also worked in theatre. A stage adaptation of he authored Peter and the Wolf as well as The Walled City premiered as part of the Pillow Play series. He has also written two other short plays one, Dementia Unlimited, participated in the Chrysalis One-Act Festival winning four awards and The Grasshopper Child, which was selected for the First Draft Playwright’s Circle Festival. A feature-length play her wrote, Light Amidst the Darkness, also workshopped with the same group.
