Poverty Row April

Poverty Row Studios (McFarland & Company Publishers)

Last year after having read a book about the Poverty Row studios as research for another project, I undertook a festival of selections of these low budget titles. Many of these films that still survive are available on The Internet Archive. I downloaded more of these titles than I viewed and will re-engage this theme this year (2014) from April 1st-30th.

This year I will resist conglomerate, or running posts, so I will likely either have wrap-ups or individual profiles of standout films. Below you will find links to last year’s posts.
